Next year's holiday is nearer than you think
It's that time of year again when our brochure goes to print and this weekend Candace our in-house designer was in Cardiff at the press pass which is always exciting stuff.
Having designed the complete brochure she always get overwhelmed with the noise of the machine, the smell of the ink and of course seeing thousands of copies coming off the press.
It's the end of a particularly busy time for Candace and signing off the colours, internal pages and front cover is a satisfying job.
The press itself prints 42,000 16-page sections in 1 hour, that's 700 per minute or 11.666 per second so pretty quick stuff! Luckily her camera had a good enough shutter speed to capture it.
After printing, the cover will have the finishing touches applied before the whole thing is bound and sent to the mailing house. So with the 2011 brochure available from the beginning of October now's the time to start planning your holiday escape for next year.
