Start planning your 2012 holiday
Another year has passed and today I have been at our printers in Cardiff to sign off the colours, internal pages and front cover of our 2012 brochure for quality and then passing for press.
Having designed and produced the brochure it’s always a satisfying job visiting the printers and seeing thousands of copies coming off the press. I have to admit I even love the noise of the machines and the smell of the ink.
The press is really impressive it prints 42,000 16-page sections in 1 hour, that's 700 per minute or 11.666 per second!
After printing the finishing touches are applied to the cover, the whole thing is bound and then delivered to us and our mailing house.
