Our first visit to the show is a great success.
It appears to have been a good move – over 155,000 visitors poured through the gates during the four days, all of them enjoying the fantastic weather the show was lucky enough to have, in fact temperatures soared to 27 degrees and with the event held during half term meant the Showground was full of families having a fun day out. Our stand was in a great location just off the main entrance with front row views to see the Countess of Wessex arrive and the excellent Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas marching past in spectacular style.
It was great to meet some more of our property owners who were both surprised and delighted to see us exhibiting at the show. With just under 200 entries to our ‘customer’ competition to win a luxury ‘Taste of the West’ hamper the potential number of holidaymakers was huge – many looking for last minute summer holidays in the south west. The lucky winner of the hamper was a Mrs J Pearce from Cornwall – we do hope she enjoys her box of treats when it arrives. Adam and the team really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be booking again for next year, we look forward to seeing you all again then.
