Short Breaks

Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Our offices are open every day.

Our blog

Welcome to our blog, here at Farm & Cottage Holidays our main business is to provide fantastic self catering holiday cottages across the south west. Our blogs are written to let you know about all of the other interesting projects and worthwhile causes we get involved with throughout the year.

  • Championing Olympic Viewing Sites!

    Sponsoring South West Coast Path

Here at Farm & Cottage Holidays HQ we like to ensure we’re doing our bit to support local events and activities and with some of the 2012 Olympic Games being based on our doorstep, we were more than happy to get involved in a winning cause!

In partnership with the Dorset County Ranger Service and the South West Coast Path, we’ve contributed to some improvements, by sponsoring two interpretation boards along the coast path around Weymouth Bay –the area being used for the Olympic sailing events.

The interpretation boards stand on two stone plinths in the car parks at Osmington Mills and Ringstead in Dorset. Providing visitors with details of rare species and various forms of local wildlife, these boards had become faded and unreadable and were in need of some updating…

So by sponsoring the improvement of these boards, we can now ensure that those visiting these key sites can fully enjoy the facilities and their surroundings. As our director James Morris states "It is really important to be involved in a Dorset-based project, in an area that attracts many of our customers."

Why not get ahead of the game and book your Dorset cottage for 2012!
