Short Breaks

Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Our offices are open every day.

  • Dunster by Candlelight

    Christmas Festivities

We’re spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do in the West Country and in particular throughout the festive season as there’s always something magical going on. Brimming with Christmas atmosphere, Dunster by Candlelight is one such event at attracts hundreds of visitors each year…

Taking place of the 2nd and 3rd of December 2011, this charming Medieval Somerset town becomes swathed in the glow of pretty candlelight as it turns its back on the present and keeps all its streets aglow purely by the light of candles.

Paid for by the Traders of Dunster in aid of St Margaret's Hospice, Somerset, every £1 from the sale of the programmes goes to the Hospice as well as all the donations gathered by street collections. Throughout both evenings a variety of street entertainers including carol singers, Morris dancers, hand bell ringers and choirs from the local parish church perform.

A traditional and exciting event for all ages, it’s sure to get you feeling festive – and if you’d like to spend a weekend enjoying these classic Christmas celebrations, we’ve a beautiful selection of Dunster cottages nearby to ensure you have the most magical of weekends!
