Stroud Farmers Market
With seasonal festivities adorning many people’s wall-planners as December ebbs ever closer, now is the perfect time to start hoarding some of the must-have items for your kitchen cupboards. Host to one of the country’s most famous outdoor markets, Stroud is the perfect place to visit and ensure you are fully stocked up for Christmas!
Recognised as one of the biggest and most popular in the UK, the Stroud Farmers Market is a wonderful place to visit throughout the year, but during the festive season, it’s second to none!
With endless amounts of stalls offering the finest in local produce, there’s plenty to suit all tastes. Known for spear-heading much of the country’s organic movement, the market includes many stalls offering up certified organic produce, as well as those selling locally reared meats, home-grown produce and home-made goods ranging from cakes to condiments.
Taking place every Saturday throughout the year, from 9am-2pm, on the last Saturday of every month you’ll find The Threadneedle Flea Market, which sells a wonderful mix of gifts and home-wares.
