This large attractive cottage has beamed ceilings and has been recently refurbished and equipped to a high standard and offers spacious accommodation in an ideal holiday location. Bude's fine sandy beach and an 18-hole golf course are only a few hundred yards away. There is a riding stable nearby and you can coarse fish in the old Bude canal. Many good local beaches such as Widemouth Bay, Crackington Haven and various small coves like Welcombe Mouth, Speke's Mill, Sandymouth and Duckpool. Fishing, canoeing, boating, birdwatching and windsurfing can all be enjoyed at Tamar Lakes. Local attractions include Tamar Otter Park, The Milky Way (where you can watch cows being milked and spend the day on a working farm), The Big Sheep with its famous sheep-racing and other attractions or visit the famous village of Clovelly with its steep stepped cobbled street, Boscastle and Tintagel and many others. Bude itself has much to see and do, with its Splash indoor pool, Harlequins indoor bowling alley and indoor children's play area. Around the canal banks are recreation facilities, putting and crazy golf, amusement arcades, tennis courts and numerous places to eat and drink where children are welcome. Bude also offers a leisure centre where there is a superb gymnasium, badminton, squash/racket ball, trampoline, children's fun mornings and much more. Approximately 4 miles away a small quantity of varied sized bicycles are available for your use. There are many rowing boats and canoes available for hire on the Bude Canal and a good variety of shops and restaurants.
