Nature lovers can see a variety of birdlife and the many wild flowers, insects and animals that inhabit this beautiful heathland. Destiny's location offers easy access to a variety of attractions such as The Eden Project (35 minutes), The Cornish shopping experience of Trago Mills (25 minutes), The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the historic Jamaica Inn (5 minutes), which serves good food and was the theme of Daphne Du Maurier's famous novel. The coast at Port Isaac is just 20 miles away and the fishing village of Padstow is also nearby and offers excellent fresh fish restaurants (Rick Stein's bistro and restaurant being well worth a visit). Excellent fly fishing at Colliford Lake/Reservoir or the nearby Temple Fishery. Other traditional fishing villages such as Looe only 35 minutes away and the sandy beach at Polzeath (Newquay) is 1 hours easy drive. All this and breathtaking moorland walks directly from the cottage. Alternatively stay put and relax in the enclosed garden at the rear of the property from where you can see some of the farming activities, have a BBQ, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the views.
