PERFECT FOR WALKERS
This pretty terraced cottage is positioned right behind the popular Camel Trail, the ideal location for those who enjoy walking, cycling or fishing. The Camel Trail follows the length of the River Camel and is a virtually flat disused railway line, which runs from Bodmin Moor down the beautiful Camel estuary and onto the coast at Padstow via Wadebridge. There are several cycle hire businesses in the surrounding area and the town of Bodmin is one mile away, offering many shops and further leisure facilities. The Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway has services to Boscarne Junction throughout most of the year. A short drive will take you to either the north or east coasts of Cornwall with beautiful beaches and stunning coastal paths. This Victorian, former railway workers cottage has been completely redecorated but still retains many original features filling it with much charm. In the evenings take a short stroll to the owner’s pub, for a drink or two and some fine traditional food.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom with separate shower cubicle, basin and WC. Cosy lounge/diner with gas fire, SkyTV, DVD and dining area. Kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and a few more handy extras. At the rear there is a long tiered garden with a patio at the top and a lower area with BBQ and picnic table. At the bottom there is further seating which overlooks a stream flowing into the River Camel through a field where the neighbours geese freely wander. Bed linen, towels, electric and heating included. Off-road parking for 2 cars. 2 dogs welcome. Regret no children under the age of 5. Pub 100 yards, shop 1 mile, beaches/coast paths 10 miles. |
