The spectacular views across the valley can be enjoyed from the cottage or feel free to explore the 9 acres, with walks through the woodland and lower meadow down to a small lake. Less than a mile away is the small market town of Stratton with a choice of traditional inns or visit the neighbouring town of Bude with its many gift shops, galleries and good selection of pubs and restaurants. This bustling town has much to offer with a variety of sandy beaches and cliff top walks, boating, golf, tennis and ten-pin bowling or explore the surrounding area with many picturesque fishing villages, National Trust properties, gardens and local attractions within driving distance. Mobile spa treatments can be booked directly through the owner, subject to availability. Play facilities: at the rear of the properties, approximately 1 acre, child's play area with swings, slides, rope ladders, plenty of space for ball games and a badminton/volleyball net.
The accommodation is south facing, very bright and airy offering TWO bedrooms: reached by a winding staircase, 1 spacious double with distant sea views and 1 twin. Bathroom: with bath, handheld shower attachment and WC. Lounge: comfortable with 2 leather sofas, woodburner effect fire, TV, DVD, video, hi-fi, freesat and a large selection of DVDs. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher.
