Close by are the towns of Rock and Padstow with cosmopolitan shops and many fine restaurants, including Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant. There are many local year-round attractions such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan which are just 20 to 30 minutes drive, as are the National Trust houses of Lanhydrock and Tresilick. The dramatic north coast, with its spectacular surfing beaches, coves and coastal footpaths lie within 8 miles, and the south Riviera coast within 12 miles. The immediate area boasts excellent golf courses, fishing, shooting, and horse riding on Bodmin Moor. 1.5 miles from the house lies North Cornwall's famous Camel Trail (cycle and footpath), meandering alongside the Camel River, through farms and woodland, leading to Padstow. Hengar Manor, 1 mile from Hendra, has leisure facilities that include a large indoor pool, spa, restaurant and bar.

The farmhouse accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: wide landing with 2 south-facing en-suite rooms, 1 king-size and 1 double, both with TVs and 1 bedroom with 3 single beds, TV. Large family bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and WC. On the ground floor is an entrance hall, lounge with Edwardian fireplace, remote control digital TV and DVD. South-facing fully-equipped kitchen/diner with gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Large garden, patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. Ample off-road parking. Bed linen, electric and gas included. Central heating an additional £45 per week if required. Regret no smoking or pets. Shop and pub 2 miles, beach 6 miles. £50 security deposit, payable in cash to owner on arrival.
