There are many local year-round attractions such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan which are just 20 to 30 minutes drive, as are the National Trust houses of Lanhydrock and Tresilick. The dramatic north coast, with its spectacular surfing beaches, coves and coastal footpaths lie within 8 miles, and the south Riviera coast within 12 miles. The immediate area boasts excellent golf courses, fishing, shooting, and horse riding on Bodmin Moor. 1.5 miles from the house lies North Cornwall's famous Camel Trail (cycle and footpath), meandering alongside the Camel River, through farms and woodland, leading to Padstow. Hengar Manor, 1 mile away, has leisure facilities that include a large indoor pool, spa, restaurant and bar.

The farmhouse accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: 2 south-facing double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and WC. 1 bedroom with 3 single beds overlooking the rear garden all upstairs. 1 twin bedroom downstairs. Bathrooms: large family size with bath, shower cubicle and WC. Downstairs next to the twin bedroom is a shower room with WC. Lounge: with Edwardian fireplace, TV and DVD. Conservatory with TV and overlooks the garden. Dining room: south facing. Kitchen: well-equipped with island, Aga, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: enclosed garden with decked area, garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: central heating an additional £65 per week if required. Additional info: £150 security deposit, payable in cash to owner on arrival.
