Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. MODERN CHARACTER COTTAGE WITH FAR REACHING SEA VIEWS This character period cottage is situated perfectly for panoramic views over the rolling fields and out to Port Isaac and beyond. Situated on the B3314 between 2 of Cornwall's most popular destinations: Tintagel that is steeped in all the myth and legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table and Padstow, with its picturesque harbour, narrow winding streets packed with boutiques and Cornish fayre and renowned for its celebrity chef Rick Stein. Port Isaac, known to many as the setting for ITV's Doc Martin and Saving Grace, offers a selection of traditional pubs and restaurants and is just a short drive away. The property is ideally placed just off the A39 that links north and south Cornwall making it ideal for touring the whole of Cornwall, from the rugged wilderness of Bodmin Moor to the breathtaking and awe-inspiring Lands End.
This traditional cottage offers TWO bedrooms: reached via steep cottage stairs, 1 master double with panoramic sea views out to sea over Port Isaac, 1 twin with adult single and a child-size single bed. Bathroom: refurbished with spacious shower and WC. Lounge: still retains many original features, including wooden beams and original fireplace housing the woodburner, and yet offers ample, comfortable seating, flatscreen TV, Freeview and DVD. Kitchen/diner: integrated electric oven with hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: quaint courtyard at the rear of the property with BBQ and garden furniture. Amenities: parking for 1 car at the Cornish Arms public house car park 180 yards away, further roadside parking in the lane on the opposite side of the road from the cottage.
