Hendra is situated in North Cornwall midway between the market towns of Bodmin, Wadebridge and Camelford. Close by are the towns of Rock and Padstow with cosmopolitan shops and many fine restaurants, including Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant. There are many local all year attractions such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan which are just 20 to 30 minutes drive, as are the National Trust houses of Lanhydrock and Tresilick. The dramatic north coast with its spectacular surfing beaches, coves and coastal footpaths lie within 8 miles, and the south Riviera coast within 12 miles. The immediate area boasts excellent golf courses, fishing, shooting, and horse riding on Bodmin Moor. 1.5 miles from the house lies North Cornwall's famous Camel Trail (cycle and footpath), meandering alongside the Camel River, through farms and woodland, leading to Padstow. Hengar Manor, 1 mile from Hendra, has leisure facilities that include a large indoor pool, spa, restaurant and bar.

The west wing of the farmhouse has recently been converted to self-catering accommodation and has its own private entrance. ONE king-size double bedroom which can be unzipped to make 2 3' beds. Shower room with separate WC. Small, but fully-equipped kitchen with matching electric cooker, fridge with icebox and washer/dryer. Conservatory/sitting room overlooking luscious garden with digital TV, DVD and hi-fi, leading out onto the decking with garden furniture. Enclosed garden. Ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included, extra fuel charge of £25 per week from September - May payable to the owner on arrival. Regret no children or infants, no smoking or pets. Shop and pub 2 miles, beach 6 miles.
