This traditional cottage has just been completely renovated and finished to a first class standard. Positioned in the friendly village of Poughill which offers a pub and a church, just a short walk away from the traditional seaside town of Bude. You will be surrounded by beautiful Cornish countryside with the rugged north coastline just a few miles away, offering long sandy beaches, secluded coves and sheltered cliffs. There is much to see and do in the area, which is renowned for its beautiful scenery. If you fancy a day out, why not visit Clovelly with its steep, cobbled streets which will take you back in time, or one of the old fishing villages such as Padstow or Boscastle. For children there are many farm parks around where children can have a hands on approach in feeding the animals, such as The Milky Way Adventure Park, which is worth a visit. The famous Eden Project and the regional capital of Truro are about an hour's drive and provide an entertaining day.
The superb accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with shower over and WC, 1 further double and 1 twin bedroom. Family bathroom with shower over and WC. The living space is arranged on the ground floor, with the rooms linking together to form a big circle. There is a formal dining room, breakfast room with woodburner and 2 lounges, both featuring a traditional open fire and one with Freeview, TV and DVD. Country-style kitchen with Aga, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, combination oven and microwave and many handy extras. Outside utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Large grassed garden, along with patio area with furniture and BBQ. The property has its own well in the kitchen providing much of the water for the house. There is also a rain water recycling system and solar water heating installed at the villa. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Security deposit of £100 payable on arrival.
