Surrounded by the peaceful Cornish countryside, Quackers Corner is a perfect retreat for two. Ideally located for touring the whole of Cornwall, offering a variety of the finest coastlines, quaint little fishing villages, moorland walks over Bodmin, attractions such as The Eden Project, Newquay Sealife Centre and much more. Quackers Corner is only 2 miles from Mawgan Porth, which is shielded on both sides by cliffs. It has acres of soft white sand, rock pools, caves and magical sunsets. The surf is ideal for beginners, and there is a school on the beach. If you fancy a more challenging surf, head to Newquay, which is only 8 miles away and is is known to be the surf capital for the UK as well as having an outstanding range of sandy beaches. If that all sounds too energetic then why not chill out and relax on the patio with a good book and a glass of wine.
This spacious semi-detached, open-plan studio-style accommodation offers a well-equipped kitchen area with cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dining table and chairs. Only 5 miles north is Rick Stein's restaurant at Padstow with its golden beach, ferry to Rock and cycle way to Wadebridge. 5 miles to the south is Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant and the Extreme Academy beach and watersports. Local shops (including local organic produce) and pub 2 miles away. Newquay airport, with daily flights, 10 minutes drive away. Beach 2 miles (30 minutes walk). |
