Short Breaks


Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry.

This attractive barn conversion with lovely garden is situated in the beautiful Dunmere Valley. Situated very close to the centre of Cornwall, everywhere that you would want to visit is a short drive away, 

There is access via a private path onto the very popular Camel Trail, a virtually flat trail running through lovely countryside from Bodmin through Wadebridge to the coast at Padstow or up to Wenford Bridge on the moors, making this the ideal holiday spot for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. There are several cycle hire businesses in the area. In the immediate area Bodmin is 1 mile away and offers a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, leisure facilities and attractions. The historic houses of Pencarrow and Lanhydrock, with their beautiful gardens, are close by, and the Eden Project is 11 miles away. A short drive will take you to either the rugged grandeur of the North coast, or the gentler, but equally beautiful South coast, both with their great beaches and charming harbours or Bodmin Moor with its dramatic scenery. A very short walk will take you to the charming local pub which is renowned for its warm welcome, its beer garden and its good food, particularly the carvery.

The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: twin room which can be pushed together to make a double (please request this when booking). Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC, on the ground floor. Lounge: cosy area on the first floor offering ample seating including a sofa bed, TV, DVD and Freeview. Kitchen/diner: light and airy open-plan living area with dining table, electric cooker, cooker hood, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. Outside: lawn garden with seating looking over the Camel Trail. Amenities: ample off-road parking Bed linen, towels, electric and heating included. Regret no pets. Additional info: secured storage available for bikes. Location: pub 100 yards, shop 1 mile, beaches/coast paths 10 miles.
