A PERFECT ROMANTIC GETAWAY RETREAT, SHORT BREAKS AVAILABLE
The Riverside is an idyllic detached cottage nestled in a sheltered Cornish valley in St Breward, on the edge of Bodmin Moor. As its name suggests, this pretty Grade II listed cottage borders a small river and is reached by crossing its own granite footbridge into the front garden. This accommodation, which is comfortably furnished, retains much of its old-fashioned character and charm, with a lovely granite fireplace and woodburner, which is perfect for those cosy evenings. The pretty village of St Breward is the highest and largest on Bodmin Moor and has its own post office, village store and is only a gentle 5 minute stroll from the traditional pub serving local ales and food. Surrounded by the moorland of one of England's great wilderness areas, this is a haven for walkers and cyclists alike. There is direct access from the cottage onto the moors for superb walks, on the National Cycle Network and close to the Camel Cycle Trail for cycling. For the keen horse rider, there are stables and riding lessons available only a short distance away. Alternatively, if you just fancy the slower pace of life, relax with a good book next to the snug fiery woodburner.
