Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. An idyllic detached cottage nestled in a sheltered Cornish valley in St Breward, on the edge of Bodmin Moor. This pretty Grade II listed cottage borders a small river and is reached by crossing its own granite footbridge into the front garden.

This accommodation is comfortably furnished, retaining much of its old-fashioned character and charm, with a lovely granite fireplace and woodburner, which is perfect for those cosy evenings. The pretty village of St Breward is the highest and largest on Bodmin Moor and has its own post office, village store and is only a gentle 5 minute stroll from the traditional pub serving local ales and food. Surrounded by the moorland of one of England's great wilderness areas, this is a haven for walkers and cyclists alike. There is direct access from the cottage onto the moors for superb walks, on the National Cycle Network and close to the Camel Cycle Trail for cycling. For the keen horse rider, there are stables and riding lessons available a short distance away. Alternatively, if you just fancy the slower pace of life, relax with a good book next to the snug fiery woodburner or in the garden listening to the river running by.

This cosy accommodation offers ONE bedroom: double with traditional beams and en-suite shower and WC. Bathroom: and WC. Lounge: with flatscreen TV, DVD, hi-fi and a fantastic woodburner with the first basket of logs for free. Kitchen/breakfast room: situated downstairs with range cooker, microwave and fridge. Outside: enclosed garden with seating and BBQ. Amenities: parking for 1 car is available just 25 yards from the property. Bed linen, towels, electric and night storage heaters included. 1 dog by arrangement. Additional info: the ceilings are traditional low open beams and anyone well over 6' will have difficulty. Short breaks available, minimum stay 4 nights. Location: beach 10 miles, pub and shops walking distance.
