Tredethy cottages are situated in a delightful courtyard setting within communal gardens, in the heart of Camel Valley, providing the perfect start to a wonderful holiday. From the moment you drive over the 15th century Helland Bridge and approach Tredethy cottages you enter a world of tranquillity far away from the stresses of everyday life. The cottages are set in a peaceful courtyard behind Tredethy country house hotel, in a mews of carefully restored Grade II listed cottages that offer well-appointed accommodation.
The spectacular beaches, coves and costal footpaths lie within 6-8 miles north and the south coast riviera can be reached within 12 miles. The Eden Project can be reached in 15 minutes and other locations include Pencarrow House and Gardens (3 minutes), The Lost Gardens of Heligan (20 minutes) and many National Trust properties such as Lanhydrock lie in close proximity. Other attractions nearby include cycling, horse riding on Bodmin Moor, golf for all standards and fishing. The ever popular Camel Trail (cycle and footpath) meanders along the river, through woodland, and along the estuary of Padstow and this can be accessed at Helland Bridge just a stone's throw away from the cottage.
All properties have ample parking, bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included (central heating an additional £30 beginning of October to the end of March). Regret no pets, smoking or washing machine. Beach 7 miles, shop 2 miles and pub 1 mile.
The nearby Tredethy Hotel offers a full bar and restaurant , which provides a pleasant evening meal, afternoon tea or even breakfast, just in case you do not feel like cooking!
