Lying just 400 yards from the picturesque beach of Mawgan Porth, Trenance Farmhouse nestles along the coastline amongst the soft green hills of Cornwall. This character cottage, which was formerly the old farmhouse is believed to date back around 200 years, is situated in a picture postcard Cornish village. The cottage has been completely renovated to a high standard, yet retains many original features such as exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace with clome oven which has been carefully preserved. This traditional cottage is positioned close to many sandy beaches along the north coast, which can easily be reached via the nearby coast path. Watergate Bay is one of the closest and hosts the famous Jamie Oliver restaurant, which is well worth a visit. You will also be just a few miles from the bustling seaside resort of Newquay, which is famous for its Summer festivals and spectacular surfing beaches, along with its many shops, restaurants, pubs, boating lake and sports centre with a splash fun pool. Many local attractions to suit all tastes include Crealy Adventure Park, Go Karting Centre, Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and much more. Venture a little further and visit St Ives, Padstow, Falmouth or The Eden Project which are all within a 40 minute drive.
