Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. PERFECT FOR A FAMILY BEACH HOLIDAY

Lying just 400 yards from the picturesque beach of Mawgan Porth, the farmhouse nestles along the coastline amongst the soft green hills of Cornwall. This character cottage, which was formerly the old farmhouse is believed to date back around 200 years. The cottage has been completely renovated yet retains many original features such as exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace with clome oven which has been carefully preserved. This traditional cottage is positioned close to many sandy beaches along the north coast, which can easily be reached via the nearby coast path. Watergate Bay is one of the closest and hosts the famous Jamie Oliver restaurant, which is well worth a visit. You will also be just a few miles from the bustling seaside resort of Newquay, which is famous for its Summer festivals and spectacular surfing beaches, along with its many shops, restaurants, pubs, boating lake and sports centre with a splash fun pool. Many local attractions to suit all tastes include Crealy Adventure Park, Go Karting Centre, Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and much more. Venture a little further and visit St Ives, Padstow, Falmouth or The Eden Project which are all within a 40 minute drive.

The accommodation offers FIVE bedrooms: 3 double bedrooms (all spacious with handbasins and space for a cot). 1 of the doubles has a small mounted flatscreen DVD/TV. 2 further twin bedrooms. Bathroom: 1 with hand shower over bath and WC, second with separate shower cubicle and WC. Lounge: with TV, DVD and hi-fi. Dining room: with a feature fireplace and CD player. Kitchen: farmhouse-style with electric cooker, two ovens and 5-ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and many useful extras. Utility room: with tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Outside: enclosed suntrap garden offering peace and privacy with furniture and BBQ. Amenities: off-road parking for 5 cars. The property is approached through a private entrance and adjoins the owners home; a warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating all included. 2 small dogs or 1 large dog by arrangement. Regret no smoking. 2 cots, 2 highchairs available. Additional info: Bedruthen Steps Hotel which has facilities and is family freindly is within walking distance. Location: beach, family pub, shop and surf hire shop where lessons can be booked, all located within the village under 1 mile away.
