Perfectly placed for peace and quiet, Meadowsweet is one of two lodges offering cosy accommodation all year round. This 180 acre beef and sheep farm is away from traffic noise, giving you the pleasure of listening to nature’s sounds, bird’s song, lamb's bleating or just a pony munching grass in the meadow. From your door, take a stroll down to the lake where you can relax and unwind in its tranquil setting or try your hand at coarse fishing. An ideal base for touring the North and South coasts with long sandy beaches and sheltered coves, spectacular cliffs at Tintagel Head and Boscastle Harbour. Being just off the A30, you have access to many of Cornwall’s attractions including Trethorne Golf and Leisure Farm, Launceston Steam Railway, The Eden Project, National Trust Lanhydrock House and gardens, Camel Trail cycle path to Padstow and much more.
The lodges are set in their own enclosed communal lawned garden with children’s play area and ample off road parking. The open plan lounge/diner has TV, DVD and electric wood burner, the well equipped kitchen has cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Downstairs bathroom offers spa bath with shower over and WC. Two upstairs bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. Bed linen, towels, electric and night storage heating included. Lovely verandah with seating to enjoy surrounding views. 1 dog by arrangement. Coast 12 miles, pub/restaurant and shop 3 miles. |
