Set within 20 acres of the owner's farm land, these attractive stone barns offer extremely comfortable accommodation in an excellent part of North Cornwall. Providing a peaceful and relaxing holiday base and yet being only a short distance to the beaches and sheltered coves on the North coast. Many fun days out can be spent at local attractions such as: Launceston Steam Railway, Newquay Sealife Centre, Tintagel with its Arthurian legend, Trethorne Leisure Park and many more. Other attractions for a great day out include The Eden Project and Lands End. Closer to home relax within the 20 acres with a BBQ, play table football and pool in the games room and see the animals. In the evenings visit one of the many local family pubs, all serving good food. The barns have been converted from grade II listed 17th century buildings and each has its own enchanting character, which has been developed from their former use. These include cart houses, stables and a mill. Each cottage is different from the next and great care and attention has been taken to ensure that the original features of each, have been incorporated into the living accommodation providing a comfortable and unique setting. The whole of Treworra Barton is cared for in a green and sustainable manner for which the owners have been awarded a Green Tourism silver award.
The owners welcome everyone with a delicious cream tea on arrival. Each cottage has a seating area and a BBQ (available on request) and guests are welcome to explore the grounds. Ample off-road parking. Bed linen, electric, towels (although you will need to bring own beach towels) logs and full central heating are included for all cottages. Regret no pets or smoking. Beach 7 miles, shop and pub 2 miles.
Drovers Barn offers THREE bedrooms: 1 large double (with put up bed if required), 1 twin and 1 bunk bedroom. All situated on the first floor, bathroom with shower over and WC. Downstairs a separate WC, kitchen/diner with ceramic hob and separate full size single electric oven, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer. A separate lounge with TV, Freeview, video and DVD. Private raised decking area.
