This large detached cottage is centrally located right in the middle of Cornwall and is an ideal spot for touring the whole of the county and visiting lots of the places of interest. The world famous Eden Project is well worth a visit, with its large domes full of unusual plants. Cornwall’s only city, Truro, is also just a short car journey away and boasts a fascinating array of shops, along with its Victorian cathedral. Wheel Cross Cottage is positioned almost equal distance from the north and south coasts offering 2 completely different coastlines. The north coast offers rugged, spectacular cliffs and headlands, the world class surfing beach of Newquay and many fishing ports such as Padstow, Boscastle and St Ives. To the south you will find breathtaking scenery and more picturesque ancient fishing ports. Bodmin Moor is just a stone's throw away with the highest point visible from the cottage.
This old, unique cottage is full of character and offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin and 1 downstairs single. Downstairs shower room and bathroom with WC. Cosy lounge with woodburner, TV and DVD. Small snug/reading room. Dining room with woodburner. Kitchen with Rayburn, electric cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Outside there is a large enclosed garden with a patio and grassed area, along with many seating places and a BBQ. Besides the garden is a large field, which you will also have access to, ideal for flying a kite or kicking around a football. Bed linen, electric, night storage heating and logs included. 1 dog welcome. Ample off road parking. Pub and shop 2 miles, beach 8 miles. Arrival time 3.30pm. |
