Located in a quiet part of Carlyon Bay, Avalon offers a great base for relaxing and discovering the delights of the South Cornish coastline. You will be within walking distance of the beach at Carlyon Bay and a stone's throw from the coastal footpath which will lead you down, with stunning sea views, to the picturesque harbour village and beach at Charlestown. Often used as a film set, it is home to period, rigged ships and Shipwreck museum as well as many delightful pubs, restaurants and shops. The spa at The Carlyon Bay Hotel is the perfect place to unwind. The championship 6500 yard golf course set high on the cliff edge is a must for all golfers and the bars at the hotels in Carlyon Bay are all open to non-residents. Cornwall can be easily discovered from this central location with easy access to Lands End, The Lizard Peninsular and the resort of Newquay with its Blue Reef Aquarium and wide, sandy beaches, ideal for surfing. Avalon is about 2 miles from The Eden Project and also just a short drive to the unspoilt fishing villages of Mevagissey, Fowey, Looe and Polperro. There are an abundance of houses and gardens to visit in the area including Lanhydrock House, Restormel Castle and The Lost Gardens of Heligan to name a few.

The contemporary and recently refurbished accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: on the first floor a spacious landing with views over the moors opens to 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bedroom with child sized bunks (2'6" by 5'9") and an extra single bed.1 further double on the ground floor. Bathroom: with shower over bath, heated towel rail and WC. Shower room and WC. Lounge: with TV, Freeview, DVD and open fire, winding around in a C-shape to dining area. Kitchen: with electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and breakfast table seating 4. Outside: 3 steps lead from the kitchen to the large, enclosed, lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. There is also access to the garden from the front avoiding steps. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels and electric included. Central heating surcharge extra £25 per week from October to April. Stairgate available. Regret no smoking or pets. Location: beach, shop and restaurants walking distance.
