The beach is perfect for family beach time and exploring the rock pools at low tide. It is also a haven for surfers and water sport lovers alike, with a small slipway giving access for those launching boats a short distance away. Perfect for families, this property boasts plenty of space inside and out. Approached by a private road, the house is set in a quiet, safe and peaceful location in the popular village of Downderry. The heart of the village has a beach side pub, an excellent restaurant, cafe and a small general store, all a short stroll away. Alternatively, head to the delightful fishing villages of Looe and Polperro or further afield to Padstow, Fowey or even St Ives. The area is popular with walkers and boasts lovely cliff-top walks along the dramatic Cornish coastline. There is plenty to do in this hidden corner of Cornwall, with The Eden Project, National Marine Aquarium, National Maritime Museum and numerous National Trust properties all within easy access for daytrips. Alternatively you could relax by enjoying a glass of wine, a BBQ or just taking in a summers evening by the waters edge.
The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard and offers FIVE bedrooms: many with stunning sea views. Upstairs offers 1 king-size with child's single bed and en-suite bathroom with large separate shower and WC. 1 further king-size with child's single bed, en-suite bathroom with WC. Downstairs offers 3 king-size bedrooms, one of which contains an additional single bed. Bathroom: with large shower, bath and WC. Lounge: large with 50" flatscreen TV, DVD, Sky HD TV, oak floor and adjacent conservatory with seating. Kitchen/diner: large and well-equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave and many useful extras. Utility room: leading from the kitchen with dishwasher, washing-machine, tumble dryer and separate WC. Further large fridge/freezer in out-building. Outside: large garden with seating and mobile BBQ. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking, pets or young single parties. Additional info: this property sleeps 10 adults and 2 children up to 12 years old plus infants. Highchair, cot with bedding and toys are provided free of charge upon request.
