Trussel Farm nestles in an idyllic setting on the south-facing slopes of the East Looe Valley offering a perfect getaway for two. The cottages are set within 24 acres of the owner's smallholding where you will be welcome to explore the varied scenery consisting of open fields, woodlands, ponds and a wetland nature reserve. Stroll the winding footpath along the beautiful riverbank with views over the scenic single-track railway. With excellent access to both coasts and centrally located for all attractions in Cornwall including The Eden Project which is just a 40 minute drive away. The picturesque fishing villages of Looe and Polperro are close by which offer many restaurants and pubs.
Trussel Farm has its own private filtered water supply and free-range eggs are usually available. A shared washing machine and freezer are situated in an outhouse. Short breaks are welcome in the off-peak season. Babies are accepted however the properties are not suitable for toddlers. Ample off-road parking. Bed linen, electric, heating and logs are included. Regret no pets and no smoking within the properties. Shops and pubs at Liskeard just 2 miles and the beach at Looe, 5 miles.
Little Trussel has ONE double bedroom with a restored antique bedstead and en-suite shower with WC. The open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner has a handmade terracotta tiled floor with rugs and a large unique window that opens to a stunning view of the valley. The living area is full of character with a woodburner (logs included), portable radiator and a TV with DVD and Freeview. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. You will have exclusive use of the large private garden surrounded by mature copper beeches and there is a BBQ area where you can enjoy relaxing alfresco meals.
