Approached via a quiet country road, The Rookery provides an ideal spot to relax and enjoy both counties, with various attractions within easy reach including The Eden Project, National Trust gardens, Plymouth National Aquarium, Newquay Zoo and many beaches, all providing a great day out. The beaches in the area, Seaton, Portwrinkle and Freathy are well worth a visit and all join the South West Coastal Path with excellent views. Enjoy a day at the local golf course at St Mellion or have a drink at the local pub, situated within 1.5 miles.
The Rookery offers TWO bedrooms situated on the first floor: 1 double and 1 twin bedroom with a family bathroom with shower attachment and WC. The ground floor offers a large open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner with rustic furnishings, double oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The dining area has a large pine dining table seating 4 and the cosy lounge includes TV with DVD and inglenook fireplace with woodburner (first basket of logs provided). The pretty South-facing garden has a small pond (take care with children) and a lawned area with seating. Garage for 1 medium-sized car. Bed linen, electric and central heating included. Regret no pets or cot, you are welcome to bring a travel cot although space is limited. Pub 1.5 miles, shop 4 miles and beaches approx 19 miles. Arrival time 3pm. |
