Trussel Farm nestles in an idyllic setting on the south-facing slopes of the East Looe Valley offering a perfect getaway for two. The cottages are set within 24 acres of the owner's smallholding where you will be welcome to explore the varied scenery consisting of open fields, woodlands, ponds and a wetland nature reserve. Stroll the winding footpath along the beautiful riverbank with views over the scenic single-track railway. With excellent access to both coasts and centrally located for all attractions in Cornwall including The Eden Project which is just a 40 minute drive away. The picturesque fishing villages of Looe and Polperro are close by which offer many restaurants and pubs.
Trussel Farm has its own private filtered water supply and free-range eggs are usually available. A shared washing machine and freezer are situated in an outhouse. Short breaks are welcome in the off-peak season. Babies are accepted however the properties are not suitable for toddlers. Ample off-road parking. Bed linen, electric, heating (£20 fuel surcharge per week from 1st October - 31st April payable to owner on arrival) and logs are included. Regret no pets and no smoking within the properties. Shops and pubs at Liskeard just 2 miles and the beach at Looe, 5 miles.
Trussel Cottage has been renovated to a very high standard with open roof trusses, reclaimed oak flooring and a contemporary woodburner. The accommodation offers ONE double bedroom with a restored antique bedstead and en-suite shower with WC. The well-equipped handmade kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Lounge/diner with TV, DVD and Freeview. Both the lounge and the bedroom have large patio doors which overlook the owners' land and open out onto the terrace, where you can enjoy a BBQ or simply relax in the sunshine. Heated by night storage heating and woodburner. Parking directly outside the property with level access. Arrival time 4.30pm.
