Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Approached via a long, made farm lane with views over rolling fields to the bays of Portreath, this thoughtfully converted listed barn has many original features to be enjoyed. A perfect way for two families to enjoy a Cornish holiday with the living area situated on the first floor overlooking the field which children can play in along with benches and tables for guests to sit and relax, and beyond to the bay at Portreath. This unique barn is semi-detached but remains private and enjoys a choice of two patio areas (one of which is enclosed) and children's play area in a field just across the way with swings and slides. A host of footpaths run from the property to an array of different locations encompassing environments such as wooded areas, streams, fields and cliffs. An enticing stroll down through the woods to the beach will reveal the coves and harbour of Portreath with excellent surf, and stretches of golden sand. There are several new "mining trails" in the area, ideal for cycling or walking, one of which leads straight from the farm.  Nearby is the popular golf course of Tehidy and within a short drive you will find the towns of St Ives, Penzance, Truro and Falmouth all boasting excellent restaurants.

The accommodation offers FIVE bedrooms: 3 of which are situated on the ground floor 1 four-poster double with en-suite with shower over bath and WC, 1 small twin and 1 further double with en-suite shower and WC (this room also has french doors that lead to an enclosed patio area). On the first floor 1 double and 1 twin bedroom both with sea views. Bathroom: on the ground floor with shower over bath and WC. Shower room with WC on the first floor. Lounge: also situated on the first floor, galleried area with views over the land to the bay at Portreath. Having TV, DVD and a feature balcony area with seating that is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evenings. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped, situated on the ground floor with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: 2 patio areas, 1 of which is enclosed. BBQ available upon request. Lounge has external access via stone steps with railings. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating all included, wi-fi available. Regret no pets. Location: the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants at Portreath can be accessed via the footpath that is approximately a mile long, or a 5 minute drive. Arrival: not before 4pm. You are welcome to drop your luggage off before this time if you wish.
