Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. This newly renovated detached cottage has been sympathetically finished to a high standard and well-equipped. Enjoying views over the rolling countryside, and from the spacious enclosed garden and decked area, enjoys complete privacy. Sitting within the quiet hamlet of Mawla, rest and relaxation is guaranteed, yet just a short drive to some of Cornwall's most popular surfing hot spots. Portreath, St Agnes, Porthtowan and the capital city of Truro is only 10 miles away and offers a wealth of shopping opportunities to pick up the perfect memento, as well as a host of restaurants and pubs to sample the local delicacies. The surrounding countryside offer some of the finest routes for walkers and cyclists alike, littered with stunning views and picturesque relics of Cornwall's mining heritage, and some of the most beautiful and rugged coastline to enjoy. The old tramway is a 2 minute walk, this is now a bridle and cycle path from Devoran to Portreath with cycle hire and riding stables just down the road. Leisure facilities: hot tub located on the decked area.
The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: all located on the first floor, 1 spacious master double, 1 further double and 2 twin bedrooms, with one full of character set within the eaves and offering lowered sloped ceiling. Bathroom: located on the first floor with roll top bath and separate shower. There is also a shower room on the ground floor with WC. Lounge: with inglenook fireplace and woodburner, TV with DVD and Freeview. A separate quiet snug room with comfy seating and a further woodburner. Kitchen: that has been well-equipped with integrated range cooker with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility: with washing machine and tumble dryer and separate wine fridge. Outside: the property benefits from a spacious private enclosed rear garden with decked area and hot tub and a separate enclosed area perfect as a dog exercising area. Amenities: ample off-road parking available. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking within the property. 1 well behaved dog welcome and more by arrangement.
