1 OF 2 BARN CONVERSIONS. 4 ACRES OF RURAL FARMLAND WITH HORSES, CATS AND A DOG
These two delightful cottages are situated at the end of a private lane with no near neighbours and offer comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. They have been lovingly renovated and include many original and interesting features. Situated in an area of major historical interest with Carn Euny, an ancient monument, being within walking distance. In fact, the public footpath to the site is adjacent to the farmland. Carn Euny shows the remains of a 2000 year old iron age settlement. There are also many other ancient wonders nearby such as standing stones and stone circles and fogou (a Cornish cave). Beaches on the North or South coasts are only 5 miles away including Sennen Cove, Gwenver and Marazion to name but a few (good surfing at Sennen and Gwenver). The fishing harbour at Newlyn is also worth a visit, as is the open-air theatre at Porthcurno. Lands End itself is within easy reach, as is the larger town of Penzance, with its many shops, pubs and restaurants as well as the huge number of family theme parks and attractions. The Fountain Inn at Newbridge is a short drive (approximately 3 miles) along quiet lanes and serves good food. There are BHS approved riding stables and pony trekking nearby. Guests are welcome to store bikes and surf boards in the garage next to the house.
