Short Breaks

Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Our offices are open every day.

About the property

1 OF 2 BARN CONVERSIONS, 4 ACRES OF RURAL FARMLAND WITH HORSES, CATS AND A DOG. SLEEPS 2+2

These two delightful cottages are situated at the end of a private, unmade track with no near neighbours and offer comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. They have been lovingly renovated and include many original and interesting features. Situated in an area of major historical interest with Carn Euny, an ancient monument, being within walking distance. In fact, the public footpath to the site is adjacent to the farmland. Carn Euny shows the remains of a 2000 year old iron age settlement. There are also many other ancient wonders nearby such as standing stones and stone circles and fogou (a Cornish cave). Beaches on the North or South coasts are only 5 miles away, including Sennen Cove, Gwenver and Marazion to name but a few (good surfing at Sennen and Gwenver). The fishing harbour at Newlyn is also worth a visit, as is the open-air theatre at Porthcurno. Lands End itself is within easy reach, as is the larger town of Penzance, with its many shops, pubs and restaurants as well as the huge number of family theme parks and attractions. Also a short drive away are several pubs serving good food. There are BHS approved riding stables and pony trekking within easy reach.

Both properties offer views over open countryside. Outside: children and dogs are usually welcome to play in the adjacent large field but please check with owner first. There is also an area of semi-wild woodland which older children can explore but this is not suitable for toddlers and has an unfenced pond. Guests are welcome to store bikes and surf boards in the garage next to the house. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, electric and central heating included, no extra costs. Pets welcome but to be kept out of bedroom at all times (must be well behaved around horses and farm animals). Additional info: no cot available though you are welcome to bring your own travel cot, high chair is provided. Advance grocery/newspaper orders can be arranged.
