ON THE PROMENADE OF PENZANCE WITH PANORAMIC SEA VIEWS
Right on the attractive promenade of the historic market town of Penzance, Mounts Bay View offers panoramic sea views from both the master double and the lounge. These magnificent views feature the historic St Michaels Mount with its medieval castle and church, which can be reached by foot at low water or by ferry when the tide comes in. This stunning cottage is a short walk into the town centre with its art galleries, shops, restaurants and cinema. The promenade also has a 1930s swimming pool, children's play area and two parks are close by. Visit the fishing port of Newlyn with its daily fish market. The Eden Projest is also a great day out. Lands End is just 10 miles from the town and other picturesque areas, which are easily reached, including St Ives Bay and The Tate, Truro, Falmouth and the beautiful Lizard Peninsula with its sub-tropical gardens and host of bays and coves. Penzance is well served by direct rail routes from many parts of the country. Car hire is available from the town and bike hire can also be arranged with the owners. Day trips to the Scilly Isles can be taken by air or sea from Penzance.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin bedroom both situated on the first floor along with a family bathroom with shower over and WC. On the ground floor the large lounge has mahogany flooring, TV, DVD and large windows to take advantage of the sea views. A separate dining room has slate flooring and french windows that lead out to a very small service yard. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Parking is free and unlimited on the promenade, or 2 car parks are situated a short distance away. There is a vehicle access lane at the rear of the property for unloading. Complimentary cream tea and bottle of wine on arrival. Bed linen and towels included. Regret no pets or smoking. Beach, shop, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. |
