Shepherds Close is nicely tucked away, and provides a private setting with lawned gardens and panoramic views of Falmouth Bay. This peaceful location has the best of both worlds being just a short drive to the bustling town of Falmouth with its marina, shops, galleries, museums, recommended restaurants and pubs (approx 5 miles). The National Seal Sanctuary, Flambards Theme Park and The Minack Theatre all provide exciting days out for adults and children alike and the beautiful National Trust gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah are close by. Stunning scenery can be enjoyed from the clifftop walks along the Helford River which also offers water sports and fishing. The water is crystal clear for bathing here on the South coast and golden sands and good surfing can be found on the North coast which is also easily accessible.
The accommodation offers THREE well-presented bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin bedroom. A family bathroom with tiled flooring, bath with shower over and heated towel rail. The well-equipped kitchen has slate tiled flooring with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The comfortable lounge/diner is decorated in warm terracotta tones and has french windows with fantastic views, dining table to seat six, woodburner, TV with integrated video and DVD and hi-fi. The lawned gardens extend around the bungalow with seating and adjoining fields. Ample parking. Bed linen, towels, logs and central heating are included. Regret no pets or smoking inside the property. Pub and shop at Mawnan Smith less than a mile and beach approximately 2 miles. |
