A walkers paradise, with a choice of footpaths from the farm, either through a pleasant wooded valley or across open fields, leading down to Portreath with its sandy beach or to some of the most spectacular cliffside scenery in the country. There are also several new “mining trails” in the immediate vicinity, ideal for both cycling and walking. Situated near to the entrance of the farm is Tehidy Country Park, a tranquil 250 acres site of woodland, lakes, footpaths and cycle trails, as well as the impressive Tehidy Park golf course. St Ives and Falmouth are 25 minutes drive. The Lizard, Padstow and the renowned Eden Project are about 50 minutes, while the county town of Truro with its catherdral and high street shops is 20 minutes away. Indoor swimming, go-karting, bowling and other games are available locally. Illogan and Portreath (1 mile) have a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
