Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

About the property

LOVELY PERIOD HOUSE IDEALLY LOCATED FOR TOURING SOMERSET AND THE COTSWOLDS, SLEEPS 12+1

Set within the small market town of Thornbury this spacious semi-detached house,  circa 1914, has been refurbished to a high standard but sympathetically to retain its integrity.

Thornbury boasts a picturesque high street with several independent shops. There are a wealth of attractions nearby for adults and children alike to enjoy which makes this property is an ideal base from which to enjoy the many delights of this part of the country. Walkers will enjoy the chocolate box villages of the Cotswolds including Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Tetbury as well as the Wye Valley and The Forest of Dean which offer some of the finest landscapes in the country. Visit the regional town of Bristol, only 30 minutes drive, with its shops, pubs, restaurants, leisure facilities and the SS Great Britain. Other attractions well worth a visit include Roman Bath, Clarks Village at Street, Cribbs Causeway, Longleat Safari Park, Malmesbury Abbey, the National Waterways Museum and much more. Enjoy some excellent food and real ales in the numerous village inns and restaurants.

The accommodation offers SIX bedrooms: set throughout the second and third floor. Situated on the second floor, 1 four poster double and 1 king-size bedroom, a further king-size bedroom with TV, feature fireplace and connecting door to the shared shower room (which can be made into an en-suite). The third floor consists of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, and 1 further bedroom with a zip-and-link bed made as a double (can be made into a twin on request) this room also has its own seating area with TV and a day bed made as sofa however on request can be made into a single bed. Bathroom: bath with WC located on the third floor. Shower room: shared or en-suite, with WC located on the second floor. Further bathroom on the second floor, with roll top bath and shower cubicle. Separate WC adjacent. Further WC on ground floor. Lounge: with open fire (first basket of logs free), bay windows and TV/DVD. Second lounge: with TV/DVD and pool table. Dining room: with feature fireplace. Kitchen: with range cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and many useful extras. Utility room: with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and adjacent boot room. Outside: large garden to the front of the house, patio and seating to the rear with enclosed hot tub and summer house with garden games, toys and seating. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, electric, central heating, wi-fi and sky included. You are kindly requested not to smoke within the property. Towels for hire, 2 dogs welcome. Location: beach 45 minutes drive, shop and pub within walking distance. Arrival: 4pm
