Perfectly positioned for touring Devon and Cornwall, you will be 2 miles west of Tavistock and a short drive to the dramatic Dartmoor National Park, renowned for its rugged scenery, tors and quaint villages. The beautiful historic town of Tavistock offers a pannier market, restaurants, cinema, swimming pool complex, park and walks beside the River Tavy and canal. Enjoy fields, trees and country lanes abundant with wild flowers in spring. There is a short farm trail where guests can absorb the country air and lovely views or take a 10 minute walk to the local inn. Discover the moving heritage of the Tamar Valley nearby with the North and South coasts being easily accessible. There are many National Trust properties locally including Cotehele House, Lydford Gorge and Buckland Abbey. The Eden Project is also nearby, while horse riding, sailing, golf, fishing and cycling is available locally.
The accommodation is of a high standard with attention to detail a priority and offers ONE bedroom: king sized bed with luxury en-suite shower room and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with feature granite fireplace with a woodburner for those cooler evenings and exposed stonewalls. TV, Freeview, video and DVD. Kitchen area is well-equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: garden with patio, seating and BBQ. Amenities: parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels and electric included. Central heating an extra £25 per week (October - Easter) payable to the owner on arrival. Regret no pets and no smoking.
