Aside from the many country walks available on your doorstep, Dartmoor National Park is less than a 10 mile drive offering rugged scenery, tors and quaint villages. Discover the rural market town of Okehampton and discover the National Trust sites of Castle Drogo and Lydford Gorge. The county city of Exeter is an 18 mile drive with its monuments and historical attractions as well as its popular shopping area. The North Devon coast and pebble ridge at Westward Ho! is a 45 minute drive where you can discover cliff walks and bustling fishing villages.
The accommodation offers FIVE bedrooms: on the first floor, 1 double with exposed beams, en-suite shower and WC, 1 double with additional single bed, 1 further double and 1 twin. Bathroom with double shower, roll-top bath and WC. On the ground floor, 1 king-size double which can be a twin on request. Separate WC. At the heart of the house is a spacious, comfortable lounge with large dining area and many period features such as exposed beams, woodburner, TV, Freeview, DVD, video and hi-fi. Further lounge area.
