You will be perfectly positioned for touring both Devon and Cornwall with easy access to the A30. You will have a choice of sandy beaches to the North and South as well as attractions such as Meldon and Roadford reservoirs for walking and fishing, National Trust properties, the Eden project (60 minute drive), and horse riding can be found locally. There are two local pubs within 1 mile of the property serving food. The town of Okehampton offers visitors the opportunity to step back in time with a visit to the ruins of Okehampton castle or play a few holes on the golf course (discounts available for guests organised direct with the owner), or swimming in the new local indoor leisure complex. Other attractions include Lydford Gorge, Morwellham Quay, Two bridges, Widecombe in the Moor, Castle Drogo, Buckland Abbey, Crealy Adventure Park, market towns and more. Play facilities: for families there is a walled garden with games barn, play equipment and storage for bikes.
The accommodation has been carefully refurbished to a high standard and offers SIX bedrooms: upstairs, most with a feature fireplace, 2 king-size doubles, both with TV and en-suite bathrooms (one with sofa bed), 1 further double with extra single bed and 3 twin bedrooms. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Downstairs shower room with WC. Two staircases sit on either side of the property for easy access to every room in the house. Lounge: large, with woodburner, flatscreen TV and DVD. Second lounge with TV, DVD, woodburner effect electric fire, games and double sofa bed. Dining room: spacious with woodburner in feature restored oven. Kitchen: with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility area: with washing machine, tumble dryer and room to place dirty boots and wet clothing. Outside: enclosed walled garden with BBQ and seating.
