This detached house stands in its own grounds close to the farm, where you will be welcome to walk and watch the farming activities and see the animals, including horses, and when in season the lambs to feed. There is a games room with darts, table skittles and pool table. Roadford Lake is nearby where you can walk and children can play in the children's play area. Dartmoor is also nearby with its rugged scenery, picturesque villages and wide open spaces in which to take enjoyable walks. Other attractions include Lydford Gorge, Morwellham Quay, Two Bridges, Widecombe in the Moor, Castle Drogo, Buckland Abbey, National Trust properties, beaches, coves, market towns and more. Plymouth and Exeter are nearby with theatres, shops, restaurants, cinemas and indoor swimming pools. Plymouth also has an ice-rink and dry ski slope. Torbay has an indoor fun pool, cinema, pubs, shops and boat rides. There is a restaurant within walking diastance that offers good food and puts on a very good New Years Eve 'do'.
The accommodation is well furnished and equipped and offers FIVE bedrooms: 2 family rooms with double bed and single, 1 double, 1 twin with 2'6'' beds, and 1 single. All have handbasins.
