Set in the very heartland of Devon and nestling in the foothills of northern Dartmoor, is Okehampton, a historic market town. The Castle, which is mentioned in the Doomsday Book, stands dramatically surrounded by natural woodland. Full of history and legends.
Tavistock is situated on the River Tavy and below the slopes of Dartmoor National Park. A former stannary town with Saxon beginnings, the town also boasts a thriving market scene. A farmers’ market is held on the town square twice a month and a covered pannier market held five days a week. Tavistock enjoys a full calendar of events throughout the year including the infamous Goose fair in October.
Exeter, the regional capital for culture, leisure and shopping, is a vibrant city brimming with character and steeped in ancient history. Exeter offers visitors a delightful mix of high quality attractions, restaurants and shops in a setting of architectural splendour.
One of England’s oldest holiday seaside-towns, Exmouth, boasts two miles of sandy beach. With fascinating rock pools to explore and waters ideal for swimming, windsurfing and waterskiing, Exmouth is a real draw for families.
Nestling beneath the majestic red cliffs of the Sid valley, Sidmouth is a regency town by the sea. With listed buildings along meandering streets of an award winning floral town, this beautiful coastal town retains much of its old world charm

Renowned for its lace making Honiton is now a bustling town expanding from its traditional high street with retail parks. Nearby is the well-preserved town of Axminster has many quaint streets radiating out from the central square. Exeter

Sidmouth
Sidmouth is a small town situated on the east Devon coast approximately 15 miles south west of Exeter, set in a south facing and curving bay with the shelter of red sandstone cliffs. Originally a small fishing village, the town became a fashionable resort in the early 19th century. The elegant seafront frontages are central to Sidmouth’s unspoilt character, not least in summer when a riot of floral colour hangs and trails from every ledge and vantage point.
