Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Approached by a quiet country lane, this charming semi-detached farmhouse enjoys peace and seclusion with far reaching views over open countryside. The property is decorated and furnished to a comfortable standard and retains much of its original charm and character. Enjoy some lovely walks adjoining the land or Dartmoor National Park which is within a short driving distance. You are ideally positioned for visiting a host of beaches and the seaside town of Dawlish with its shops, pubs, restaurants and coastal boat trips. Historic Exeter, with its cathedral and riverside attractions is a short drive away. Huxley is ideally positioned for a wide range of attractions in the area such as Powderham Castle, Crealy Adventure Park, Digger Land, Pennywell Farm, The English Riviera and Dawlish Warren with its renowned nature reserve and sandy beaches to name but a few. For the sports enthusiast there is horse riding 3 miles, golf 4 miles, fishing 0.5 mile and more. Relax in the garden with a BBQ or enjoy a meal at one of the many village pubs, three within walking distance, all serving good food. Farm activities: in the evenings enjoy a guided tour around the farm where you can meet all the farm animals including turkeys, chickens, cows and sheep. Stabling: grazing for horses at an additional cost by arrangement.

Kitchen area with gas cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine, access to freezer and tumble dryer at a small cost payable to the owners. Outside: private garden with seating and BBQ. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen and electric included. Central heating extra, payable to the owners. Towels for hire. Dogs welcome. Babysitting by arrangement. Additional info: opportunity to pre-order a box of organic vegetables, fruit, bacon, sausages and lamb for your arrival when available. Location: beach 20 minute drive, post office and general stores 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Arrival: 4pm.
