Rugged Dartmoor is a must for walkers and this is also a short drive. The beaches on the south coast offer a range of sheltered coves and long sandy beaches. Other attractions worth a visit include Crealy Devon, Castle Drogo, Buckfastleigh and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Enjoy some lovely countryside walks direct from the property with the two village inns serving good food, and shop being about 1 mile away. Enjoy a glass of wine in the pleasant enclosed garden area overlooking the church.
