You are welcome to walk through the owner's woodland, that is ablaze in spring with daffodils and bluebells, to the Little Dart River where you can try your hand at a spot of trout fishing (no charge but bring your own tackle) or why not try a spot of clay pigeon shooting or paintball which can be organised through the owners. Meadow Mist's central position offers easy access to a wealth of attractions, moors and lovely locations to the North and South of the county so there is always something to suit everyone's tastes. The historic village of Chumleigh is easily accessible (2 miles) with good family pubs, quaint gift shops and tearooms, as is the market town of South Molton, Barnstaple and the historic city of Exeter. The Tarka Line is just 2 miles away where you could enjoy a scenic train ride to Exeter or Barnstaple or even hire bikes for the day. Golf, riding and fishing can be found locally.
