Rugged Dartmoor is a short drive and is perfect for nature lovers and walkers. The beaches of North Cornwall are 23 miles away and offer a range of long sandy surfing beaches and sheltered coves to explore. There are attractions to suit most tastes and these include Castle Drogo,Tarka Trail and the Granite Way cycle trails, Lydford Gorge, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Launceston Steam Railway and more. The village of Northlew is a mile away, the small market town of Hatherleigh has local shops and pubs, and Okehampton offers a larger range of shops, including Waitrose, restaurants and leisure facilities. In the evenings relax in the enclosed garden area and of course enjoy a glass of wine!
