The Farway Valley is outstandingly beautiful, hidden between Honiton and the sea, the nearest villages are Branscombe and Beer. This area known as the Jurassic coast has many interesting beaches and coves. For walkers, the East Devon Way passes through the village and the coastal path is a few miles away. Close by is the Devenish Pitt riding school, Honiton Golf Club and the Donkey Sanctuary. It is a wonderful spot for wildlife and bird watching. The historic city of Exeter is 16 miles away, offering many attractions including the cathedral, theatres, restaurants and shopping centres. The resorts of Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton are within easy driving distance as are several National Trust properties.
Private access leads to The Dairy which provides TWO bedrooms: 1 large double room and 1 galleried with twin beds, shower room with handbasin and WC. Sitting room with vaulted ceiling, TV, DVD, hi-fi and french windows leading to the patio. Kitchen/dining room with gas cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer box and washing machine. Wooden beams and underfloor heating throughout. Private fenced garden and courtyard, with garden furniture and BBQ. Ample parking with an open-fronted linhay which provides covered parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome, the garden is dog friendly. Beach is 7 miles, shops 4 miles and pub 3 miles. |
