Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. PERFECTLY SITUATED TO TOUR THE WHOLE OF THE AREA Originally a country pub, Alswear House has been carefully refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation with the owner occupying the fully self contained ground floor. A warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured. Alswear House has its own private entrance and is approached via gated stone steps. Set on a quiet country road you will be ideally situated to visit the market town of South Molton, which is just 2.5 miles away, where 2 markets are held each week and where you can browse around an array of shops, a supermarket and numerous pubs and restaurants. You will be within easy reach of the wonderful sandy beaches at Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! Walkers will be spoilt with country footpaths from the village of Alswear and Exmoor easily accessible, whilst on Exmoor you could visit the zoo or one of the local fishing lakes. The picturesque coastal villages of Clovelly, Lynton and Lynmouth are also within easy reach along with the larger town of Barnstaple which is 12.5 miles away and has numerous shops, a theatre, cinema and many pubs and restaurants. The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: each with its own private bathroom or shower room, on the first floor you will find 1 small double with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and 1 twin with a neighbouring separate bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and WC. On the second floor 1 large double with a step down and low doorway into an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC (low beams) and 1 further large bedroom with 3 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Lounge: on the first floor is a spacious lounge with a flatscreen TV, Freeview and DVD. Dining room: seats 9 with feature Rayburn that can be lit in the winter, 2 steps lead to the Kitchen: with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: 2 enclosed private gardens with seating and BBQ. Amenities: ample off-road parking just across the road in the former pub car park which is now privately owned by the owner. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. 2 dogs welcome. Location: pub 2 miles, shops 2.5 miles and beach approximately a 30 minute drive.
