Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. This double fronted former fisherman's cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Centrally located and situated at the top of a cobbled courtyard the house is just a stroll from the bustling quayside.

Appledore offers numerous amenities for the visitor, with family pubs, a maritime museum and a varied selection of art and craft galleries. Enjoy a stroll through the narrow streets of this village which has remained unchanged for years. An idyllic seaside retreat for those who just want to relax and enjoy a simpler pace of life, however you are perfectly positioned for exploring the whole of North Devon with sandy beaches at Westward Ho! just a few miles away, all weather family fun at The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and walking and cycling on the nearby Tarka Trail.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin both on the first floor accessed by cottage style steep stairs from the living area hence regret no children under 6 years. Bathroom: on the first floor with shower over bath, WC and heated towel rail. Downstairs, small shower room and WC. Lounge: with Victorian fireplace, woodburner, flatscreen TV with DVD, broadband connection point and a wide variety of books and DVDs. Kitchen/diner: one step up to kitchen area, well-equipped with gas hob, electric double oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with small freezer section and washer/dryer. A few steps lead up to adjoining small conservatory with stable door at one end. Amenities: limited roadside parking, long stay car park nearby. Bed linen, towels, electric, logs and central heating included. Regret no pets or smoking. Additional info: regret no children under 6 years. Location: Northam Burrows Country Park and beach 2 miles, slipway, shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance.
