Under a mile away is the surfing beach at Westward Ho! with its 2 miles of golden sands, golfing at the Royal North Devon Golf Club (the oldest links in England) and slightly further is RHS Rosemoor Gardens, the steep cobbled streets of Clovelly or many local historic houses.
