This huge Georgian semi-detached home, originally built as a gentleman's residence, offers great space for large family holidays, get-togethers and special events.
Minutes from the centre of the town and Tunnels Beach, it means you can leave your car and enjoy the local restaurants without the worry of driving home. The Landmark Theatre, with all-year-round entertainment, is close by and for those who enjoy walking the house is virtually on the trail of the Torrs Walk. The pretty harbour, about 10 minute's walk, offers fishing trips and pleasure cruises around the coast or to Lundy Island. Only a 10 minute drive to the famous sandy surf beach of Woolacombe. There are good views over the town from several rooms, the house is the right hand part of the building above. Games room: complete with pool and bar billiards table, football game and darts.
The accommodation offers NINE bedrooms: all with en-suite facilities, TVs, clock/radios and hairdryers. On the ground floor just off the main entrance hall is 1 twin with en-suite shower and WC. On the first floor is 1 double four-poster with canopy and en-suite bath and WC, 1 double with en-suite shower and WC, 1 double and single with en-suite shower and WC, 1 double with en-suite shower and WC (please note 2 steps into this bedroom and care must be taken). On the second floor is 1 twin with en-suite shower and WC, 1 double and single with en-suite bath and WC, 2 doubles with en-suite bath and WC. The front door opens onto a large reception hall and sweeping staircase. Large inner porch with ground floor cloakroom with WC and washbasin. Lounge: with TV, DVD, gas fire and lovely bay window overlooking the town, with through door to second smaller seating area with TV. Dining room: located downstairs seating 20 with plenty of space, complete with hi-fi, and additional small lounge and door to small south-facing garden. Kitchen: very well-equipped with large 6-burner gas hob, gas oven, 2 microwaves, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.
